I am california resident , indian origin , green card holder and canadian citizen. Custom arranged marriage to a indian girl in india 6 month ago but never registered with govt of india(still it is a legal marriage). the wife living in India in our house never came to USA. i am planning to apply for divorce in california. At the same time , i never want to let them know because it is not safe for my parents in india. what is the best way to do the divorce.
one of the paralegal advice me ' just some letter to the spouse and get her signed on acknowledgement card' that would serve the purpose of she rec'd the divorce notification. i don't know how that would work if court directly sends letter to her in india bypassing me and paralegal.

You need proper advice - which you are not liable to get on here. If divorce is not safe for your parents then there is no difference in the way you get the divorce. Everyone in India will find out soon enough what has happened.
Do not take any advice from here - go and see a proper lawyer, preferably an Indian lawyer who will understand your dilemma.
